Indigo content in indigoid dyes is tested. Investigations are made on major factors affecting dyeing of real silk fabrics with indigoid dyes, with dyed sample tested in its color fastness and breaking strength, offering some elementary technical foundation for dyeing silk fabrics with such dyes.
